Found us a little oasis out in the middle of nowhere in the hot desert of New Mexico today. Leo was VERY excited and vowed to be a good dog forever if we let him swim for 15 more minutes. #roadtrip #alohaisasalohadoes #rvlife
At the Meow Wolf museum in Santa Fe. This place is a trip. My kids would love it. We were the kids tonight!
While we travel the Southwest, my 16 year old son is starting his first day of school in Japan - where he’ll be for 6 months. We just got this handsome photo of him in his uniform and almost cried. So proud of him and his loving and adventurous spirit!
The oldest church in America. The San Miguel Mission in Santa Fe was built about 1610. Went inside and walked on the creaky wood floor and rang the mission bell. I feel like I’m part of history now.
Sunset in Albuquerque, NM. We are visiting a friend here, but we left Santa Fe feeling like there was more to discover there. Maybe we’ll loop back around :-) Each time we make time to talk to people - and really listen, our world broadens and we discover new possibilities.
From my workshop in Santa Fe. We turned Day into night and played with fun lenses. This is @seeinanewway Lensbaby Sweet 35 @santafeworkshops
Loving Santa Fe and loved teaching my portrait/lighting workshop with @santafeworkshops Thanks also to @seeinanewway Lensbaby for the crazy cool lenses! This was with the Sweet 35mm. #lensbaby #santafeworkshops
Had an amazing dinner in Santa Fe at Saźon and started talking bikes with our waiter. When we were done he took us outside so he could show me his custom creation in the parking lot. Life is fun when you make friends :-)
In Santa Fe teaching day 1 of my photo class. It took an interesting turn this morning. Inspiration can strike at the oddest moments. #santafephotographicworkshops #santafeworkshops
Valley of the Gods was one of our favorite boondocking spots so far. To roll out of bed and stare at this is most definitely a slice of heaven. #alohaisasalohadoes
It was hard to keep eyes on the road as we scrambled the moto up Moki Dugway — the views were very distracting.
Clare takes it all in. Exploring on the moto is a different experience than in a car. You smell, hear, feel everything. You can pull off a little dirt road and up to a vista and see things the speed tourist might miss.
