How to Increase Sales in the Photography Industry

Working for Kevin Kubota has its perks. I get to travel often, learn about the newest gadgets in photography, and encounter thousands of great photographers every sq

I am often asked if I know any of Kevin’s tips, or have any of my own tips for growing a professional photography business. Common questions always come up: 1) How do I get more clients? 2) How do I make more money? 3) When will the economy turn around? I don’t know what Kevin would say, but I always have the same answer. And that answer always comes in the form of a question.

Is your phone number on your website?

And more often than not, the answer is NO. “No, I use a contact form” or “no, I don’t want to put my phone number on Facebook”. Well my friends, if you want to have more customers, make more money, and at least turn your own economy around; make it as easy as possible for the customers to contact you—and hire you.

It really is simple. If you do not have your phone number and email address front and center on your Website, Facebook Page, Instagram posts, etc., go do it right now!  Put it on every page. Every page! Yes, now. Why are you still reading this? Go!

P.S Listing your city and state is pretty helpful too!
