Photoshop video tip for Smarter Sharpening

I recently did the PhotoFocus podcast with Scott Bourne, and one of the questions that came up during our Q&A was about sharpening. Someone asked whether it's better to sharpen in Lightroom or the old way - using Photoshop. I do like Lightroom's sharpening tools, but I still find I get the best results by fine tuning the sharpening (at least for final prints) in Photoshop.

One of the tools for sharpening in Photoshop is the Smart Sharp filter. It's a pretty effective sharpening tool, but it has one major problem. I've created actions to deal with the problem, and I'll show you the Photoshop technique that forms the basis for my actions in this video.
