“There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing choices” someone said, and it’s so true! Every day, rain, sun, or snow, we try to get out and hike. It’s one of the best ways I know to nourish my body and soul. Suttle lake has a beautiful trail circumnavigating the water and the snow makes it all the more magical. ❄️
Spring in January? Bend weather is like a box of chocolates. Grateful for the beautiful day and fun ride with friends. Nikko is actually happier than he looks 😆Thanks @lundy_images for the 📷
Our Italy Dolomites tour last year was so amazing, we just couldn’t wait to offer another one! The 2019 Dolomites Adventure Tour is for anyone who loves non-stop breathtaking panoramic views of the Alps, riding e-bikes through mountain villages and trails, enjoying unique and delicious food and drink, hiking through glorious meadows filled with wildflowers that literally sing “The hills are alive…”, gracious hospitality from local inn owners, and photographic treasures around every corner.
Of course, you’ll even have the option of riding a premium Ducati or BMW motorcycle through it all if you are really adventurous!

We limit our group size to 10 to keep it intimate and allows us access to wonderful places that bigger groups can’t go.

The Dolomites Adventure Tour is scheduled for July 8th-15th, 2019.

Have you ever been to Santa Fe, NM? Last year I went there for the first time to teach a class for the highly acclaimed Santa Fe Photographic Workshops. I was thoroughly impressed with not only the beauty and art in Santa Fe, but with the quality and attention to detail the school directors put in to everything that happens there. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had teaching anywhere!

This spring, I’ll be back again teaching a class called, Lighting Made Simple. This is going to be a great class for any photographer looking for easy and elegant solutions to just about any lighting challenge. We’ll work with natural light, and easy-to-carry speedlights with versatile light modifiers, to beautifully illuminate whatever subject happens to sit before you.

At Santa Fe, we use a wide variety of stunning locations and patient models – so you will likely get some strong portfolio pieces from the work you do there with me. You’ll have ample opportunities to try and ingrain the techniques I’ll teach, and we’ll have daily reviews to keep you moving towards improvement.

Class size is kept small for lots of hands-on instruction. Interested in joining me? This could be just the working vacation you needed!

Cuba seems to have a magical allure that every photographer is drawn to. This April, @benjaminedwards and I are leading a Workshops with Purpose trip there to do donate our photography service through the non-profit, Forward Edge. We also will be having a rich cultural experience, photo walks with Cuban photographers, and so much more! Want to join us? What are your thoughts on Cuba? Have you been there before?

Post a reply or msg me if interested in joining! Deadline is Dec. 31

@nikkosos kickin’ it in Ha Long Bay in Vietnam. We boated over to the main island yesterday and rode bicycles to a little village. The snake wine was supposed to be good “for men”. Full report to follow.
Hiking The Ninh Binh national park in Vietnam and finding all sorts of little treasures. That’s our family standing in front of a 1000 yr. old tree - a sequoia in the middle of a jungle.
Hiking through the Ninh Binh national park in Vietnam and a dense jungle rich with amazing creatures. Hiking is the best. This man was hearding his goats along the river.
Biked to a beautiful temple in the hills of Ninh Binh province, Vietnam. The movie King Kong was partially filmed here. We did not see him. Not today, anyway.
Moving out of busy Hanoi and in to Ninh Binh province for a much needed shot of countryside.
